Do you think that because you sit at a desk all day it doesn’t concern you?
Do you think that because you work from home or are a house wife it doesn’t concern you?
Do you think it’s for those over educated folks or for overly posh people?
What reason makes you feel justified about being complacent to safety?
Next time you are tempted to be dismissive of safety, ask yourself: what if all those near misses were actual incidents?
Next time you are about to pop that pain killer, ask yourself: what if I paid attention to safety and it made the difference between pain and no pain?
Safety is our collective responsibility. It is not only the business of a select few.
