Drug abuse/addiction

How easy is it for you to pop pills?
Have you ever taken a moment to consider the effects of all those chemicals you keep pouring into your system?
Have you considered how much work you give your kidney every time you take those pills?
Have you considered alternative ways of getting rid of that headache for example, that doesn’t involve pills?
Do you even take a minute to consider what your body/system is complaining about and treating that as opposed to the expression or symptom of that underlying problem?
Sometimes we just treat symptoms but because we feel immediate relief, we think we have done well.
The next time you want to pop that pill, read the side effects and all the information on the leaflet and imagine if you were to suffer through any of them, would you still take the drug casually?
If you had stomach ulcer and taking analgesic  upsets your tummy, would you still take it at the slightest headache or ache?
Even panadol which we have trivialized and take like sweets should not be taken unless absolutely necessary.
Drug abuse/addiction does not apply to only recreational drug users.
