Our attitude to health

Honestly, if you see a news item and one relates to gossip (celebrity news and the likes) and the other to health, which would you read first? Which would you conveniently forget or not have time to read?
Our attitude to things in this case our health can be reflected in the small choices we make every day.
You might think your health is important, but how do you truly know your health is important to you?
How much priority do you give your health in your daily decisions?
When you want to eat that shawarma, are you more interested in your health or your satisfaction?
When you want to eat that meal, are you more interested in its nutritional value with respect to calories and eating a truly balanced meal or is it just about what you want to eat when you want to eat it.
Notice the choice of words…want is very distinct from need.
When you cook, how do you decide the process?
Do you give any thought to the health implications of frying as opposed to steaming, grilling etc.?
We might claim our health is important to us, but until we begin to give it priority in our daily choices, whether it be in our decision to exercise a little, stay away from certain foods, consciously make efforts to eat balanced meals etc., our health is not important to us.
The things important to us are the things that have priority in our lives.
Is it your health or your habits or cravings?
